I haven't finished the pattern yet, so can't give a full review, but it's important to note that the actual gauge of the garment is 20/4", and 28/4" for the detail section. The 18/4" listed in the pattern is just the gauge that's recommended on the label of the featured yarn. So don't do what I did and get a yarn that simply won't knit up nicely at 28/4"!

This was my first sweater, and I have to say I'm proud of it. The pattern was pretty easy to follow. I did think it ended up a bit short, though, so I had to take out the purl ridges at bottom and make it longer. Otherwise, no hitches!

I knitted this up in a lovely purple malabrigio. This sweater is so shapely and flattering. The details are pretty yet subtle. I love my new sweater, it's my first whole sweater I ever knitted for myself! Thanks for making it so simple. Juli B.
