Absolutely fabulous!! I never thought I'd learn how to crochet again... For at least Fifteen years I have wanted to re-learn even the basics that my nana had taught me but never managed to come across any friendly tutorials/books etc that gave me enough confidence to try again. Your online tutorial, step by tiny step was amazing. Within a matter of two hours I had learned even more than I had previous known those many years ago." - Marie B.

I haven't finished the pattern yet, so can't give a full review, but it's important to note that the actual gauge of the garment is 20/4", and 28/4" for the detail section. The 18/4" listed in the pattern is just the gauge that's recommended on the label of the featured yarn. So don't do what I did and get a yarn that simply won't knit up nicely at 28/4"!

I knitted this up in a lovely purple malabrigio. This sweater is so shapely and flattering. The details are pretty yet subtle. I love my new sweater, it's my first whole sweater I ever knitted for myself! Thanks for making it so simple. Juli B.
