Hairpin Lace and Knit Patterns - Not Finished Items
Knit or crochet? Whichever you choose, you can wrap yourself in lacy glamour following our shawl instructions, which feature organic forms and basic construction techniques for knitting and hairpin lace.
Terra (Knit - pictured top): Inspired by a Victorian lace doily, this classic circular shawl works up quickly in the round, beginning at the center and proceeding organically to the outer edge.
Vapor (Hairpin Lace): One long hairpin lace strip is joined to itself to create a dramatic stole reminiscent of smoke wisps or celestial formations. Vapor requires only beginning crochet and hairpin lace skills.
