Securing Wire Ends

When finishing knit and crochet work done in yarn, it is necessary to weave in ends.  With wire, it is necessary to secure the ends so that they do not unravel in a way that is subtle and unobtrusive.

Wire Ends:  Once the knit and crochet work is complete, there will be ends to secure at the start and the end of the wire project.
Step 1:  Using pliers, loop tail tightly 3 or 4 times to form a nice, neat coil.
Step 2:  Use wire cutters to cut remaining tail.
Step 3:  If necessary, use needle nose pliers to push down any sharp wire edges.
