Head Shaping: The head is pointy to poke through the tinest of openings, and the hook tip is 'the best of both worlds'. Not quite inline, but almost so, it extends to just the right point of the tapered throat so it really grabs your working yarn without dragging when you pull your yarn through.
Tapered Throat: The part of the hook that extends from the handle to the head is tapered. This is great for puff stitches, bullions and any stitch that requires you to pull through a lot of yarn overs.
Japanese Quality: We import these directly from Japan. The materials and level of craftsmanship represent Japanese manufacturing quality at its best. It feels like a precision instrument.

What makes the set unique is the tapered throat head with an inline hook. The head is pointy enough to get into the tightest stitch, yet the hook does not extend past the throat so it doesn't get "hung up" on your yarn. The tapered throat is excellent for making those puff and bullion stitches.
There are 5 double-ended hooks (a total of 10 hooks of graduated sizes) from Japanese sizes 2/0 to 10/0 or 2.0mm to 6.0mm.
